Filters provide your first line of defense against dust and allergens in your home. In addition, the filter protects the evaporator coil by minimizing the amount of dust and dirt that circulates through the system. It is important to replace filters often; at least once a month for standard filters. Maintaining a clean filter helps protect the equipment as well as helping to clean the air.
You will generally find your filter inserted into the return grill although some systems are filtered directly at the unit. Our technicians will be glad to help you locate yours and assist you with replacement.
If allergens are a major concern, specialty filters and air cleaners are available for even more thorough air cleaning. We are happy to discuss your needs and determine the best air filtration solution for you.
